Mandate

To establish general and uniform guidelines for appointment, promotion and discipline for Public Corporations;
To oversee the process of recruitment, promotion and discipline of personnel of Public Corporations;
To monitor the activities of each public corporation in order to ensure that the guidelines are strictly and uniformly adhered to;
To serve as appellate body for all petitions from Corporations with regard to appointment, promotions and discipline;
To maintain comprehensive and current personnel records for public corporations;
Oversee the process of appointment of external auditors for corporations;
Oversee the process of appointment of auctioneers for the disposal of unserviceable plants, vehicles and other obsolete equipment of corporations;
To propose new changes as appropriate for the Corporations in accordance with modern trends.
